Babylon Blue DA

Babylon Blue

A flick of this beautiful colour instantly reinvents the winged liner into an arty affair. I like that this hue of blue has a hint of turquoise – giving it a Mediterranean vibe compared to cobalt blue.

Wearing this fresh blue creates a beautiful statement eye that requires not much else.

To help create the perfect winged liner, a great trick is to draw the shape on first with a similar colour eye shadow. It’s a lot easier to wipe off should you make a mistake! To really make the liner pop conceal under the eye with a slightly lighter colour and extend the concealer to under the flick too. I also used the same concealer on the lid to lighten the lids, setting it with a little powder before drawing the liner. To open the eyes, I used a few  single individual lashes to the outer corner of the eye.

To finish, I used Benefits Lolli Tint on the cheek and lips. I love that these tints don’t have any texture to them – just great colour payoff. A clean modern way of applying colour to the face, and in this case still keeping the focus on those blue statement eyes.
